The property is located on the northern side of Johnson Rd ,45 kilometres east of Mount Barker and 50 kilometres northeast of Albany.
'Ricard' is undulating throughout, generally falling from North to South with original timbers comprising of ti tree, red gum, jarrah and sheok with some areas of introduced blue gums which have been strategically left on the property as shelterbelts.
Soils throughout the property are predominantly sand to sandy loams interspersed with small areas of white sand of which some areas have been clayed.
Boundary and internal fencing comprise a mixture of steel and timber posts with ring lock wires being internally subdivided into 10 main paddocks fencing is in generally sound condition.
Infrastructure includes a 455 m2 five stand shearing shed, ancillary improvements including a set of steel and timber yards. A 444 m2 machinery shed with earth floor steel frame and metal cladding has electricity connected and appears to be in sound condition. With approximately 362 tonne capacity grain storage including full conical bottom silos on concrete pads 2 x 81 tonne capacity and 2 x 100 tonne capacity.
